The Internal Audit Office provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ operations.  The office assists the organization in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systemic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. 

The Director of Internal Audit reports directly to the Board President.
