AACPS provides high-quality, developmentally appropriate, early childhood programs that educate the child in an inclusive environment honoring all children's limitless potential and individual differences. 

• Kindergarten Registration is open for the 2024-2025 school year. Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 school year will open April 8, 2025.

• Dear Families,

  Please be advised that the Prekindergarten applications for the 2024-2025 school year are now closed. Applications for the 2025-2026 school year will be accepted starting on May 6, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

  We encourage you to mark your calendars for the upcoming application period. 4-Year-Old Prekindergarten Application for the 2025-2026 school year will open May 6, 2025.

• Early Admission to Kindergarten Applications have closed for the 2024-2025 school year. Early Admission to Kindergarten Application for the 2025-2026 school year will open on April 8, 2025 at 12:00pm. The application will close on May 15, 2025 at 3:00 pm.

AACPS provides families with the opportunity to enroll their child in the Maryland Prekindergarten Program and choose from several different settings. Prekindergarten for 4-year-olds in Anne Arundel County will be available in elementary schools and in private provider settings. A list of the private providers will be posted on this website as soon as Anne Arundel County is notified of the participating providers.  The options for private providers are based on the eligible private providers who applied and received grants to participate this year from the Maryland State Department of Education.
