School Psychologists
School psychologists apply their knowledge and expertise of child development, mental health, learning and behavior to help children and adolescents succeed in school. As members of the Student Services team, school psychologists work to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Every school and most specialty programs in AACPS are assigned a school psychologist. School psychologists are trained to work with students from early childhood through the age of 21.
School psychologists can be contacted by calling your child's school or program directly. The school secretary can provide you with appropriate and timely contact information. Note that many school psychologists are assigned to more than one school and may not be in your child's building on the day you call.
You can also use the link below to find out who the school psychologist is that is assigned to your child's school or program.
