The Anne Arundel County Public Schools Office of Special Services mission is to provide quality services and school-based support to maximize student achievement. Our vision is to ignite potential within our students, staff, and stakeholders through an interdisciplinary approach---communication and collaboration to maximize success and independence with optimal learning and increased functional performance for all students. The Office of Special Services includes Assistive Technology, Blind and Visually Impaired, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech & Language, and Adapted Physical Education.
