Today over 500 teaching assistants gathered virtually for AACPS' first Paraeducator Symposium, Empowering Paraeducators for Student Independence, organized by the Division of Specialized Instruction & Early Intervention Services. As we approach the WIDA ACCESS for ELLs testing, we want to remind families about the importance of your students’ participation. This test helps families understand their students’ English language skills in Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing—important information that helps guide the support needed for their success in school. 🗓️ Be sure your student is present on testing days. 🎯 No need to study, just focus on showing what they know! 💬 Talk with your student about their language development and encourage them to do their best. Together, we are a team, and your student's success is our top priority! #BelongGrowSucceed #AACPSFamily
