Good morning! Conversation and Coffee is today, 3/28, at 9 am. Come join us to chat about the grading timeline for report cards, learn how to advocate for your child's needs, or discover techniques for juggling play and work. Of course, you'll also have the chance to meet other parents, share community resources, and tell us what's on your mind. At the end, we will have fresh fruit for you to take home. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Good morning! If your child was invited to Camp SOAR, the Title I sponsored summer program, all applications are due no later than Friday 3/28/25. We cannot accept any applications after this date. Thank you for understanding.

Starting on Thursday, April 24th 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Woodside will be participating in MCAP Testing, our state mandated ELA and Math test. Cell phones and smart watches will NOT be permitted in the testing environment. Students will be asked to turn them off and leave them in their backpacks. If a student is found with a cell phone or smart watch in their testing room they are subject to disciplinary action. You may also have your child leave their phone/watch at home on those days. In order for our students to be successful please make sure that your child is getting a good night’s sleep and is here at school on time. Thank you for your continued support.

#TBT Spotlight on CTE
Ms. Ingle, a former student at the Center of Applied Technology South(CAT-South), is now the HVAC Instructor at CAT-South.
It is rewarding to have the opportunity to give back to the school that gave me so much. I never thought I would be able to be a teacher due to learning disabilities, but that only made me stronger as a teacher and as a student. I always say my brains are in my hands, but due to my learning disabilities, I can see things and explain things in a better way to help people understand. Now, as a teacher, I help other students with the same disability learn that having an IEP or 504 is just your toolbox, and your tools are there to help you succeed with the job at hand.
As a student, I competed in Skills USA and placed third in the States Competition. Now, I am also an NTHS member and a big supporter of Skills USA and what it stands for, which is why I help support this competition every year.

In this week's edition of Thursday Thoughts, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell discusses the impact of the International Parent & Community Leadership Academy. #BelongGrowSucceed #AACPSFamily
