From the Math and Literacy Coaches……
All students in Grades 1st – 5th have completed the Beginning of the Year (BOY) i-Ready Diagnostic. Your child’s performance on the BOY i-Ready Diagnostic has no impact on their academic standing and will not be reflected in the gradebook. It is, however, a data source that educators at SOES can utilize to help drive instruction within the classroom. Below are resources on how to access your child’s BOY Diagnostic Report.
Quick Note regarding grade level: If my child is in 3rd grade and i-Ready data determines my child is on a 2nd grade level, that would mean that they are currently on grade-level because they haven’t been exposed to 3rd grade curriculum yet.
AACPS i-Ready Stakeholder Presentation
In the 2024 - 2025 School Year, AACPS will NOT be sending diagnostic reports electronically to parents. However, parents will be encouraged to access the i-Ready for Families Report in their students' "My Progress Tab" on the student dashboard inside the i-Ready platform.
