Good evening, this message is to inform you about an incident after school today. A smoke smell was detected in one of the upstairs classrooms and, out of an abundance of caution, we evacuated the building. The fire department promptly responded, thoroughly inspected the building, and ensured it was safe for reentry. Everyone was safe during the process, and we appreciate the cooperation of students, staff and parents. We look forward to welcoming students back tomorrow at our usual start time of 7:40.

In this week's edition of Thursday Thoughts, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell talks about working with the newly constituted Board of Education to continue to help every student Belong, Grow, and Succeed. #AACPSFamily #BelongGrowSucceed
