Welcome to Severna Park Elementary School! Severna Park provides educational programs for Pre-K through grade five students. Learning is our school’s central mission and we at Severna Park believe that all students can and will learn. We have created an environment that provides excellence in teaching and learning so that all students will participate responsibly in our diverse and changing world. It is the mission of Severna Park Elementary School to provide a positive and challenging environment where all students will achieve academic, social, emotional and physical success. Students, staff, parents and our business partners are all part of our collaborative learning community. Together we achieve and maintain an atmosphere of respect, support, and high expectations. Our parents and community volunteers work together with our staff to create a successful learning experience for our children. Our staff is a talented and hard working team of teachers. As dedicated professionals, they engage in a continual process of learning and staff development which assists them in designing challenging and relevant curricula, aligned to state standards. All of this reflects our belief that learning is a life-long process and Severna Park is a place where we “Reach to Teach and Teach to Reach.”
