Hello everyone! My name is Mattie Cavey, and I am one of the four 5th Grade teachers at Glen Burnie Park Elementary. This year, I will be entering my 9th year teaching 5th Grade and my 12th year teaching overall at GBPE. I graduated in 2013 from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and have my Master's from UMBC in Instructional Systems Design. I currently reside in Glen Burnie. I love spending time shopping, watching sports (GO RAVENS), listening to music, collecting things from Nightmare Before Christmas, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to a great year! :)
