Hello! I am Amanda Spurgeon and this is my 12th year teaching at Glen Burnie Park. This is my fourth year teaching 3rd grade after teaching 8 years of 1st grade! I graduated at Towson University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and graduated at La Salle University with a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. I recently received my reading certification through Goucher University. This year starts my journey of being Nationally Board Certified! I live with my husband, my two energetic sons, Tripp and Jaxon, and our dog Bailey! I love reading, drinking Dunkin' iced coffees, watching Netflix and shopping on Amazon! I cannot wait to meet you and to start building our classroom family!
