Mrs. Johnson - Art

Hi there, I’m Mrs. Johnson! This is my 29th year teaching Art here at GBPES. I love my school community and consider it my second home. It is such a pleasure to teach so many children of parents who were also my students so long ago! I have my degree in Art Education from Towson State University and am a National Board Certified Teacher. In my spare time I LOVE to create Art of all kinds. What makes me the most happy is trying new Art techniques. I live at home with my husband, yellow lab Rogie (short for pierogi) and cat Daisy. Our adult children now live in their own homes.  I cannot wait to greet students and get messy in our Art room this year!

Mr. Jones - PE

Hello!  My name is Chris Jones.  This will be my 26th year of teaching, 23 of those years at GBPE.  I’ve taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, and I currently teach Physical Education.  I graduated from West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Early Childhood Education.  My wife, Beth (Pre-K teacher at GBPE,) and I live in Harford Co. with our sons, Elijah and Austin.  I love spending time outdoors, camping, and competing in just about any sport!  I look forward to helping your child develop their skills, knowledge, and experiences in PE to achieve optimal health and wellness throughout their lifetime!
