Summer Programs

The AACPS Summer 2025 Catalog is now available for families to view program and camp offerings here: AACPS Summer Programs 2025 District Catalog

The Co-curricular Clubs and Summer Programs CASP / Home (aacps.org) portal will open for families to apply to seats in camps that have lottery enrollment on Monday, February 3, 2025 through Friday, March 7, 2025. Some programs will be invitation based, and students eligible will receive individual invitations to enroll in those offerings.

Please use the link above to log into CASP and apply to programs. When on the log-in page, please ensure you select "Summer Programs", and enter the student ID without any additional spacing, and the student birthdate with zeroes, such as 02/03/2025.

As shared in a system-wide message, Elementary and Secondary Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding that was provided for relief during the pandemic is expiring and will no longer be available therefore some summer programs and specialty camps will no longer be free for those attending and will be tuition-based and include a registration fee.

We are pleased, however, that we will be able to continue offering many of our traditional summer offerings for our students. During the summer of 2025, our Extended School Year (ESY) for eligible students per their Individualized Education Program (IEP) will continue. Additionally, our SOAR program will be offered for students attending Title I schools with options for free admission, transportation, and meals. Furthermore, AACPS is proud that 38 of our schools are now Community Schools and as such will have opportunities for additional summer program offerings for their students. Finally, our middle school summer programs and high school credit recovery programs will continue to be offered at no cost.

Information regarding Secondary Summer School can be found here on the Secondary Summer School page. Questions regarding Middle and High School credit-recovery opportunities can be emailed to Secondary Summer School

All other questions regarding summer can be directed to the Summer Programs Office; email Summer Programs
