This cluster combines the fields of healthcare, medicine, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and more. An aging population and the increase in health care needs results in these careers being among the fastest growing and most in demand in the country. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the human body, disease, major biological themes, and other concepts related to medicine and healthcare. Programs in the Health and Biosciences Cluster focus on preparing students for careers and post-secondary education in direct patient care settings, research and laboratory facilities, as well as for opportunities in business and management related to healthcare.
