2021 Teacher Of The Year Program

Anne Arundel County Public Schools 2021 Teacher of the Year

Jing Dai

"Effective teachers never work alone. We must work collaboratively to share a variety of ideas and resources, focus on critical thinking and reflection, and support each other. Learning to teach is an ongoing journey. I will always have something to learn to become a better teacher, but that is my motivation."

   - Jing Dai

Jing Dai, Chinese teacher at Meade High School, was named the 2020-2021 Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year. The public announcement came at the conclusion of the 35th annual Excellence in Education Awards, which was broadcasted on AACPS-TV and AACPS’ YouTube channel.
