2025 Long-Range Facilities Plan

In 2005 and 2015, Anne Arundel County Public Schools retained the services of a consultant to develop a 10-year Strategic Facilities Utilization Master Plan (referred to in both instances as the MGT Study).
AACPS has retained Perkins Eastman as the consultant to help develop the 2025 plan, which will chart the course for school construction for the next decade. The study will cover building utilization, sustainability, educational adequacy, facility age, and facility condition. The Board of Education will be presented with the final report in September 2025.
Similar to Phase 2 of the redistricting process, AACPS and Perkins Eastman have created a online tool to provide information and collect feedback on the five key focus areas stated above. That tool is available at www.aacpsfacilitiesplan.org. Input will be collected through June 1, 2025, and will be used to develop data-driven overall rankings for projects.
