Programs
- Student and Educator of the Month
A program which recognizes 4-5 students and 1 educator each month. Students and teachers take part in the nomination process. They are awarded a certificate from the Senator's Office, the County Council, the GB BAB, as well as a gift card to Outback Steakhouse. Winners are displayed in the main lobby of the administration building.
- Mock Interviews
All seniors take part in mock interviews during their fall semester. Representatives from local businesses volunteer to work with our students, creating a realistic job interview experience.
- Job Shadowing
All 9th Grade Students take part in a day for job shadowing. Working with their English classes, students start thinking about a possible career. Students use the opportunity to experience on the job situations and responsibilities.
Fundraisers
- Engraved Bricks
Make a permanent mark on the Glen Burnie Campus! Participating in the career connections program has a fundraiser –available for any student, parent, teacher, alumnus, or community member to purchase.
Your support for the students and faculty at Glen Burnie High School can be set in stone! Engrave a brick and have it placed in the center of the campus!
For only $35 you can make a lasting contribution to Glen Burnie High School. Buy a brick as a gift, with friends, or as a whole family. A brick has three lines of space, with 14 available character spaces on each line.

- Fashion Show
Join us for an evening of elegance and see the latest styles in fashions including sports, business and formal attire. Enjoy a wonderful buffet dinner along with live entertainment from GBHS Faculty and Students, door prizes, Local Celebrity Guest, and the fabulous GBHS Models.
- Outback Steakhouse Scholarship Fund
The Glen Burnie Outback Steakhouse helped the Business Advisory Board raise $5200 for the scholarship fund.
