Computer Science Club

Advisor - Ms. Hertel

The Computer Science Club is a group of young individuals devoted to study of Computer Science. The goal of this club is to help progress the erudition of those interested in the field of Computer Science. The main focus is to prepare for computer science competitions, primarily the Univerisity of Maryland competition in the spring.

Erin H. is currently the president, and Cory M. is the vice-president.

Awards:

The Computer Science Club, in its first year of existance, has already won several awards in the county and state.

• 2nd place at AACC Competition (with Cory M. taking 3rd place in the Individual Test Round)
• 13th out of 45 at state-wide competition at University of Maryland

The Computer Science Club is linked closely to Botball, which consistently does well on a national level.
