The GBHS Campus:
Glen Burnie Senior High School is located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, about 15 minutes south of Baltimore City. It has an average student population of 2,000. Glen Burnie High School is made up of five buildings. The largest building is the media building, which is also the newest. It has two floors that contain the english, social studies, and science departments. It also has our computer lab, media center, and cafeteria on the first floor.
The oldest building in the school is the Old Main building, which was constructed in 1934. It has three floors and it houses our art, foreign language departments, and drama classes. The adjoining administration building includes the music department, auditorium, administrative offices, and guidance department. Adjacent to Old Main is the physical education building, which contains the PE, gym, weight room, and wrestling room.
The third largest building is the business education building. The business, special education, and family and consumer science departments are located here. Also, there is a gym on the first floor.
Math and computer science classes now fill the spaces where tech ed classes had previously been taught. These courses are now taught in the industrial arts building.
